No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle New Trailer
Written by Sensei May 29th, 2009 at 11:38 am
There have been so many excellent game announcements in the days leading up to E3 that it seems they would be hard to top. Well for me, my Game of 2010 has arrived. At TGS last year I was fortunate enough to be in the front row as Suda 51 announced that there would be a sequel to favorite Wii game. And today I was finally able to see the form it would take. I know not everyone cared for the first No More Heroes game but for those of us who did, this game looks to deliver. But watch the video and judge for yourself.
Warning: Contains naughty words and naughtier use of a beam katana.

That’s right folks your prayers have been answered. For on this day (or rather last week) the mighty Topher Marohl has brought forth a second Playdia review! All it took was 7 months of begging and harassment. In this epic video Topher critiques a Sailor Moon as well as a Dragonball Z game in a way only Topher can. Drunk.

No Brand Con 2009 Coverage (Part 2)
Written by Traegorn May 4th, 2009 at 8:57 am
The second half of my No Brand Con 2009 coverage shows a bit more of the stranger side of No Brand Con. Behold some odd moments from the No Brand Con Variety Show. Witness the Cosplayer who won’t get off the stage (no matter how hard Duct Tape Boy and I try to usher her off). In the end, a 100% successful convention. Footage provided kindly by Cheesus.

I run No Brand Con in Eau Claire, WI. No Brand Con is Wisconsin’s Premiere Anime Convention, and we hold it every spring. This year, as I was so busy running around working on stuff, I didn’t get to film anything really. Fortunately, Cheesus and Harley were kind enough to send me footage to share with you. For the record, I’m the idiot in the ninja mask. More to come later as well.
Animal Crossing Corrupting Japanese Youth at Local School

A while back I was sitting in the teachers’ lounge drinking a nice cup of green tea, an announcement came over the PA system. As usual I and the other teachers tuned it out, as these announcements are pretty much the same thing every day. Then I heard something I was not expecting, the words “Doubutsu no Mori” or as we know it “Animal Crossing”. Now I started listening.

3DO To Go: Paddock Note ‘95
Written by Traegorn April 20th, 2009 at 11:09 am
TRHOnline.com and Rising Stuff present yet another episode of 3DO To Go. In this entry into the ongoing depths of the strange world of gaming that is the 3DO, I look at Paddock Note ‘95, a Horse Racing Simulation. It was released in 1995 by Fuji Television and was a Japanese only release. Because of that though, the entire game is in Japanese… a language I neither speak nor read.

TRHOnline.com and Rising Stuff present yet another episode of 3DO To Go! In this installment I pull out FIFA International Soccer which was released by Electronic Arts in 1994. It’s the first game in their long running FIFA series of video games. Really, this is a game for people who want to play a game… about soccer.
