A short break

Written by Alex      August 1st, 2010 at 7:51 pm

Hey everyone. Just thought we’d let you know that Rising Stuff will be out of town between Friday, August 6th and Friday, August 13th. I’ll be in Tokyo and Kevin will be back in the heartland of America feasting on corn and potatoes. We’ll see if we can find some nice goodies to bring back from our misadventures to show you all!

During this period, no orders will be processed or shipped. Please act accordingly. Thanks for your patience and continued support of the store and the site! :)

Sale Wind Up and New PC Engine and Mega Drive Games!

Written by Alex      July 7th, 2010 at 5:36 pm

Thanks to everyone who picked something up during the sale! It was great to hook you all up with the games you wanted. The bad news is we’ve already spent all the money we made from it. The good news is we spent it all on Mega Drive and PC Engine HuCards! Look for restocks and new games to pop up in these sections before the coming weekend!

Thanks again everyone and we hope you like what’s coming up next!

Radiant Silvergun - Until We Quit!

Written by Mobiusclimber      May 16th, 2010 at 11:43 am

Ty came over my house last night and we decided to record ourselves playing a game I recently purchased from Craigslist (of all places): Radiant Silvergun for the Sega Saturn. I suck at shmups pretty badly, so we don’t get very far. By the way, I’m the one you can hear in the video mashing buttons. It wouldn’t be the last time that night I pointlessly mashed buttons (we also played Vampire Savior).

What, more Sega? Sure, but it will all make sense in context. Even Sega needs love too, you know!
